I don't blame him. He has a celebrity asset. Seems reasonable to cash in.

Not sure why, but I feel reticent to comment on an aggregated link. I think this might be an issue. Not sure why, but I want to know that someone had a stake in the submission.

I wouldn't want to visit that site regularly. It looks nice, but it isn't easy to navigate.

Terrible post, but it's sad to see TC lose its edge so quickly after the AOL acquisition. I'm not sure AOL understands the secret to TC's success.

It seems with some work, you could make a program that imitated this well enough that it would be difficult to tell the difference. The fact that the artist noted that it took a human touch suggests to me that they feel a bit vulnerable.

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask people to invest time in the community before they can request the community to invest time evaluating their product.

Can anyone give some background on this? I just switched from Windows to Ubuntu, and have just started to familiarize myself with OpenOffice.

This is very true. I would have left Reddit long ago if it weren't for the subReddits. I can still find the site/community that I love at Reddit.com.

Oh cool. Then YC will either pick us, or my friends and I will unceasingly try countless creative ways to change their mind, and they might not all be legal. Your choice, YC. ;)
