30 - 45 minutes x 10 - 15 sessions over a month is possible. It depends how in-depth and how far out the strategy is effective for. A 3 month strategy for an early stage company is workable in the 5 - 10 hours in a month.

I've gotten used to 3 or 6 month raises/performance evaluations. Small but frequent raises are great for some, but it really depends on the person. When I ran marketing teams, if they were too big I adjusted raises to be every 3 m

I see Rails jobs all the time, that being said you have to diversify. Your skill set is the same as investing, diversify and you will be sustainable. In this case expand out from Rails into JavaScript, PHP, whatever else and you will be set
