At the risk of self-promotion :). https://medium.com/google-cloud/understanding-kubernetes-net... This is the first of a two-part series, the first dealing with pod networking and the second with services. I plan a thi

I bought my kids a couple of HP laptops back in the day. First step was always a reformat. But back then I had an MSDN account and the wherewithal to set the machines up the way I wanted, which many people do not. For myself I have not boug

People who haven't used it need to start somewhere, and the author specifically says why panes were not addressed. "Useless" is a pretty harsh write-off.

I agree and I _almost_ didn't buy the 4k panel, but as I noted in my comment above my first Dell panel lasted 12 years, and that's a long time.

Have the same monitor, it's my third Dell monitor since I bought my 2405fpw back in 2005. I've always gotten excellent performance from them and the 2405 lasted 12 years. The 4k resolution and scaling can cause issues with some ap

Agreed that boat wasn't loaded down to that waterline, no way, and anyway the curve is all wrong. The beaching explanation seems reasonable but its also hard to credit that these two beached a 50' boat and got it off again. I'

I think the short answer here, or the inverse of the answer :), is that you begin to become irrelevant when engineering stops being the thing you like to do. I don't think you can force yourself to remain a valuable engineer if you don
