But there are many times when the client _is_ the browser. Are you sure you're not confused by that?

I've been using purelymail for multiple domains (with low traffic granted) for about ten years. I've never experienced an outage so far. Support has never failed to respond in the under 5 times I needed it.

I wonder if the latency is due to the compositor receiving a damage event for the area of the cursor, thus being a frame late to render. But probably that wouldn't be an issue with hardware cursors.

Sadly as far as I'm aware the fediverse developers have been mostly against adding monetization means to their projects, with a couple of small exceptions related to cryptocurrencies. I think Dan (Loops main dev) would do well to imple

But being able to launch your own instance where you get 100% of all the money spent by the users either through ads or directly is a pretty good incentive, and beats what any other platform offers, no? The trick is to get high enough numbe

I managed to train Facebook out of showing me ads. It took about two years of monthly clicking on "I don't want to see content from this page again" for it to stick, but now I haven't seen an ad in forever. Either I exha

I mean, you can connect to twitch using a standard IRC client. And it works equally well, better in some respects, as the browser chat has become a sluggish mess. There are stand-alone twitch chat clients now which support all its extra bli

I think that the biggest IRC channels are on twitch. Large streamers have tens of thousands of people in their channels, and probably the servers must have millions in aggregate.
