It crashes on any Atom feed. It seems the code in scrapper.js only handles RSS, and even there makes some assumptions that might not hold for all feeds.

Maybe consider yourself lucky that you'll be prevented from ludicrously associating your business with the word Zen although said business is, as a provider of rationalist technology, almost by definition completely at odds with the sc

The repository is already public. It can't get any more public by being exposed over the website.

This is too much of blanket statement. As long as there's nothing secret in the repository, serving up .git is perfectly fine. Both http://codemirror.net and http://ternjs.net (projects by me) have websites that

See also this benchmark, which seems to have very different results from the scottlogic link: http://jsperf.com/array-push-vs-array-length23333/2 I just re-ran it on FF24 (nightly), and also saw results where .push beats this kludge. So b

Browsers have debuggers, which allow users to set breakpoints and inject/run arbitrary code in the context of some function. (At least Chrome allows that, not sure about others.)

Sure, now they'll need to do `cm = document.body.getElementsByClassName("CodeMirror")[0].CodeMirror` first. (I.e. it's client-side, you can't prevent people from doing whatever they want.)

It is 'okay' to put up anything at all, of course. But I too am wondering what on earth this is and why anyone would take it seriously.

Though I do use nginx and am very happy with it, I am somewhat put off by the fact that I reported a bug five months ago (including a working patch for the problem) and no one seems to have as much as looked at it [1]. (Granted, this is in

This might sound crazy to you, but many blogs are primarily about broadcasting information, rather than showing ads. From that perspective, having a feed is a no-brainer.

This is (to respond to sibling comments) not the halting problem per se. It is the problem of not having any control over a runaway loop in the browser. You could parse and transform code to add a check on every backwards jump (end of loop

I've been doing something like that (try to get people to make regular payments) with CodeMirror, in the form of selling commercial support. I've found it hard to get people to continue to pay, and a major time drain to keep track of all th

I was able to create situations where it failed to find any type for a variable, and when you have variables that may contain multiple types it appears to only find one type, but I wasn't able to make it report any actually wrong types. (

Note that Tern's core is editor-independent. I made the demo on top of CodeMirror, obviously, since I know it very well. But the meat of this project does not have anything to with the editor that's used to interact with it.

Not magically. That part is, for now, in the scope of the IDE/editor plug-in. You can feed Tern a set of files to analyze, but Tern doesn't, for example, scrape HTML files to determine inclusions. The one exception is requirejs-style depend
