Even if it doesn't work out because of Microsoft politics, I think using one language for both will be the future. In my opinion, every language will have something like that.

I love Blazor and I think this concept of using one language to write the front and back-end will be the standard way of doing SPA.

Probably not with Scrum, but with the Scrum Master. Scrum has a set of tools that helps managing teams and they guy is probably forcing everybody to do those things, because that's his role (or else, he wouldn't be needed). Agile

And how do you know when is the right time? No room for growth? Boring tasks? Bad management? When in doubt, I tend to favor change, but it's just gut feeling. Is there a more objective metric or it's just experience?

If you have infinite time to recover, there is no problem, but you could also design something perfect using that infinite time. A bit of thinking about design and architecture can save you a lot of time. Start with the wrong data structure

I think your incremental design delivers better results because you already know or at least have a hunch of what wouldn't work and avoid that. You have an abstract architecture when starting and change accordingly on the fly, while pr

SQL is more like asm. It's the language of the databases. In my opinion, you'll have to create a language that compiles to SQL that is better than handwritten SQL and is easier to write, just like writing in C is easier and gcc ca

Windows + WSL I've used osx a long time ago and was never satisfied with homebrew. Switched to linux, but I needed excel, so switched to win + wsl. Now I don't really need excel, but the Win+WSL combo just works.

It's been a long time that I developed in Go, but at the time I though it was a better python. As easy as python, but faster. At least for backend stuff. Does it have a lot of weird edge cases? Probably yes. I'm no expert in Go, b

Wasm is not only for browsers. There is wasmer, for example. The author is saying that you will be able to replace docker (I think comparing to kubernetes is wrong) with wasm, because it can run code sandboxed. Another example is a plugin e

VM allowed cheaper computing by using resources in a more efficient way, but it came with the cost of abstracting the components. You can always buy bare metal and have your simple life.
