When are we going to stop referring to the developer of apps like "Ant Smasher" as game developers? If I spend the time and resources to develop a real game, something that gamers will come back to after a few days, I'm not going to rely on ad revenue. Ant Smasher is not a game, it's a casual entertainment app.
