This might be an unpopular opinion, but skipping college could turn out to be a big mistake for you. I know you say you're deferring for a year, but lets get real: A year turns into 2 years, turns into 3 years, turns into "Well, I just star

I posted a response on your blog, but I'll add it here as well: Go into developer tools and make sure the rendering/compatibility modes are all the same. I've run into those issues before, and this was always the case: The rendering/compati

This is a much more polished version of something I whipped up when first learning Node. It's eerily similar; If my code wasn't (selfishly!) locked away in a private repo, I would have been suspicious Very nice interface.

When I'm job hunting? Yea, I'd say so. After you've intrigued me with the job itself, then I'd go looking at who you were as a company, then probably back to the job description once more to make sure everything fit together. Not that poten

Initial feedback - It's a fairly clean page, but it's cluttered, and a little disorganized. My eye is immediately drawn to the giant orange banner. So it takes me a second to adjust and start looking around. Finally I notice "Positions Avai

This is good advice, but I think no matter what, you will always have that risk of wasting your time building something people won't want. But you should definitely use an approach that sorts the wheat from the chaff when it comes time to p

Let Meteor mature until you just ship. At the very least, until the security issues are addressed. But in the meantime, learn Node, learn Ruby, learn something else. Don't just sit and spin because the shiniest new thing isn't perfect yet.
