I always figure with Google as long as the products are part of the core Apps/G-Suite/Workspace offering they’re fairly safe to use and anything else is a coin flip.

So, essentially the same idea as iCloud+ Private Relay in Safari?

“…if you do want to use a security key, just use it to unlock your password manager and your email.” This feels like the best advice, imo.

I and most people I know are part of that 70% of people who would never buy a car without CarPlay. Even my elderly relatives who are not GREAT with tech in general seem to love it.

Sure wish more places would allow you to turn off SMS if you’re using something like a Yubi.

I drink about 8-10 cups of black coffee a day, which is what my brewer makes. I don’t have any issues with sleep but I don’t feel any sort of boost from it, I just enjoy the way it tastes. I’m curious how consistent this can be seeing as co

It likely does, I moved to BBEdit after TextMate and it feels very, very similar.

I’ve never personally bought a book from Amazon but my wife has a few times and each time she’s returned it saying it looked beat up. I figured she was just being picky (very on brand) but perhaps she was onto something.

Where are they using sex changes before SSRIs and therapy? I have not heard of this and am genuinely curious where that info is coming from.

I’ve exclusively used my Apple Card since launch and never had a problem. I used the virtual card for most of my services and everything else is Apple Pay. Been a great experience. I’ve got a hell of a lot more cash back than I got out of m

Interesting. I’m thinking of giving it another shot. In theory it sounds like the perfect browser for me. The only extension I use is uBlock and BitWarden so I don’t really care much for widespread support of extensions and it sounds like t

How is it actually working now? The last time I tried it I felt it was pretty buggy -- but in an ideal world I'd love to switch.

I've done my best to move away from Google the last few years but Drive is the one that I can't kick as so many clients share documents/files with it. People always looked at me as if I was wasting my time for taking a monthl

Kagi seems cool to me and I appreciate what they’re doing but I’ve been using DDG for years now and find myself falling back to Google less and less. It has improved quite a bit for my personal use and I can’t imagine spending $100/yea

I always toss $5 to Wikipedia when they do the annual donation campaign and I don't care where it goes. I like what they stand for and they made high school indefinitely easier for me, I owe em'.

That's a big reason why I went with them. I did a ton of research to see where I felt most comfortable but ultimately went with IVPN because of how transparent they seemed about who they were and what they could/couldn't do

I was only talking about mass redirecting 404s to the homepage, which I've heard is not great, I think what you're saying is fine -- but that sounds like more of a well thought out strategy.
