Indeed, Codex CLI is quite useful even for demanding tasks. The current problem is that it might gather context for 20 minutes before doing the actual thing. The question is whether this will be sped up significantly.

Root comment is lecturing the ladybird team about not using this suite as a metric, which is totally uncalled for. That’s what I’m trying to convey.

Why are you bringing this up, when it’s not been implemented as a metric here, but because Apple requires it for iOS.

The article sets out with an urban legend that doesn’t hold water: > More time is more tension; more pain is more gain. While this meta analysis [1] found that: > Results indicate that hypertrophic outcomes are similar when training w

> in the absence of a primary pathogen And how can absence of a pathogen be determined, in vivo? That sounds a bit overconfident in current tools, no? H. pylori apparently can hide inside Candida cells. Biofilm lets pathogens prosper whi

Can you provide more context on what question you were addressing? I‘m not sure what point you are making here.

And are we sure inflammation is the root cause and not just a bystander? Couldn’t it be pathogens that are kept in check by inflammation, which then also cause cancer to develop? HPV and papillomas, and H. pylori and stomach cancer have bee

I don’t know where I saw that number, but supposedly the mean age of an immortal human will be 500 years due to accidents. True immortality is not a thing.

I imagine things will just be very unified and boring because the same shapes will be recognizable everywhere. But it would be the same things we already have. Just make the robot weak and light enough to not even be able to harm someone. L

For some nuts and bolts, I myself struggle with it, almost to the point of giving up. But what the article misses: We can just rearrange our environment to make it easy to interact with by robots. There might be only standardized nuts and b

I guess specific (custom-made) IV phages might work. We „just“ need tech that makes the whole process affordable.

Tbf I never use /compact but clear instead, and load in the relevant context anew. I just haven’t seen compacted context to be very useful, so far.

I mean you can stay in VSCode for most activities if you hate Xcode that much (I can relate btw). Plugins like Sweetpad make this possible. My approach now is to develop all logic in small Swift packages and run swift test in VSCode (or Cla

The experiences people are having when working with big, complex codebases don’t line up with your gloomy outlook. LLMs just fall apart beyond a certain project size, and then the tech debt must be paid.

We might end up needing 20% or so less doctors, because all that bureaucracy can be automated. A simple automated form pre-filler can save a lot of time. It’s likely that hospitals will try saving there.

LLMs can code, but they can’t engineer IMO. They lack those other parts of the brain that are not the speech center.

> With enough specificity, LLMs will 100% return what you want. By now I’m sure it won’t. Even if you provide the expected code verbatim, LLMs might go on a side quest to “improve” something.
