It does gets throttled without heatsink after 1-2 hours if used continuously. Though heatsink is good enough to keep it cool for longer drives. Also depends on what phone you are using. More powerful phone = less overheating

Author of post here, yes it's based out of India. The vehicle is a modified research vehicle with retrofitted motors with torque control to control steering.

Vision vs LiDARs. These times are interesting. The self drivig would be solved via either LiDARs getting cheap, or Machine learning using vision to tackle tradeoffs of LiDARs.
