This is just a wishful thinking. I live in a country that would benefit a lot from alternative sources of gas, but for now LNG from US is just not price competitive with the gas from Russian pipelines (as in: being 50-75% more expensive). F

The article you linked to provides a trivial solution: "the trains take one hour to collide (their relative speed is 100 km/h and they are 100 km apart initially). Since the fly is traveling at 75 km/h and flies continuously

This is so wrong that I don't know where to start. First of all, people tend to forget that government is not made of angels. It is made of humans, who are susceptible to the same flaws as the rest of us: greed, hunger for power, etc.

There's a catch with convergence funds: EU never pays 100% of the bill. Average is closer to 50%, I think, so it is enough to tempt politicians into unnecessary investments, and not enough to be completely harmless for local community

You conveniently ignored that the top Xeon-W processor has 28 cores, not 18, and 2.5 GHz, not 2.3 GHz base clock. So your calculation for Intel should be more like 2.8 * 0.76 = 2.13. We are not comparing against i9-7980XE here. Still, EPYC
