That seems to be exactly what Mozilla is doing no? Research and investing in tools that help people learn to navigate information online and judge for them self. Haven’t found anything that suggests they plan on blocking websites.

That would require you know all image urls ahead of time and include them in your css file. For something like a blog or a site with user uploaded content you'd be getting the image url from your database when generating the page.

Yeah popunders suck, but doing what I can to cover costs right now. Have a lot of users that would much rather that than imgfave being shut down. That said, plan to remove those as soon as I find a better ad network.

Yup, YC S12. It does, but it's hard to cover CDN costs these days. CDN costs have gone up, mostly due to gifs, and ad rates have fallen over the past few years. Never quite got to the size where I could do direct brand deals for higher

Did a few tests and it works pretty well! No false positives at least. Any plans to increase the number of objects you can search for at once? Very interested in using this but I'd want to be able to scan for ~20 objects.
