But if even Go can't use static binaries, does that mean that static binaries are not supported by those systems ?

Yes decompression on baremetal cortex m4 is a mere hundreds of bytes, you can decompress it from flash directly to its output buffer.

Disappearing messages can always be snapshotted arent they? I fail to see their point ?(earnest question) by snapshotted, either with system snapshot or another phone?

If you're the VP, one of your main responsibilities is to ensure the structure you put in place has not that kind of issues.

C is intimidating mostly for memory and strings handling, but on a microcontroller you wont use those, leaving only straightforward parts.

Google wave was a very interesting project, I dont remember it being badly engineered. More interesting that another j2ee crud app.

I find that very nice: last arrived on a project (on a similar role) will setup a working environment for the next one to start with. It fresh enough that you remember it, and you could even find interesting to clean up a little.

I'm happy to be that old guy who learned programming with magazine articles(and a pirated copy of turbo Pascal. You really appreciated that hypertext help.)

Ifmain style main can be omitted for beginners (no syntax for main). Duck typing can be explained easily : we need something that has a food method.

I'd say it's harder to refactor because you can only refactor to correct programs. Other, more lax languages are easier to refactor to a wrong new state.

Yes, m4 from stm have art accelerator (cache memory) which make them less deterministic (but much faster) for flash access. See https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32...

From the link you provided, it seems Glade is not recommended because there exist better alternatives (in the view of the Gnome project, I can't comment on it).

Thats what I meant, were still simplifying things in 2020 for text rendering. Antialias and Cleartype are still used so it's not a settled technique, the environment is still changing.

In a different context, look at text rendering. It should be the opposite of the spectrum and stabilized for a long time, except we keep adding better rendering tricks and simplifications (not at the scale of 3d rendering but keep in mind h

I see the point of pytest and the greatness of it. I like pytest but I like minimalism more. I dont find it a good showcase here: couldn't you have kept only the asserts and just run the script?
