Really hope so, I had a root canal filling a few years ago, and my dentist said the filled tooth will probably shatter and fall out in about 10 years. Would be nice if I can just grow it back at that point.

Might differ between countries/providers, but for the airline I'm working at, checking the box leads the customer to a separate page where they can detail what kind of assistance is needed. Might be that the cabin crew misundersta

You do realize factory farmed animals don't graze the natural farmland right? They are mostly fed either stuff that humans could eat, or food that is grown on farmland that could be used to grow human edible food. In my country, most o

not my field, but isn't meat pretty lossy compression food-wise? IIRC, feeding an animal to later eat instead of just eating what the animal would eat wastes like 90% (not sure of the exact figure) of the calories. So if we just ate th

Actually tried paying for the service, not very impressed. Suggestions are most mly lacking the necessary context to be applicable. Doesn't seem like it is considering anything other than the exact highlighted code

I used the same approach! I essentially had a list of everything I should search and replace in the document (e.g. search for singular nouns ending in -en and see if they should be replaced by -a), and all the weird quirks that I needed to

I'm not necessarily against protecting your local food market, I think there are compelling reasons both for and against it. What I am against is politicians being dishonest about their motivations for imposing laws. If they want to pr

I don't believe the foods you don't like are subject to different food safety requirements than the ones you like. I also don't believe for a second that these laws are put in place for safety reasons. They are absolutely to

I don't think anyone is arguing for what you're arguing against here tbh. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. On the other hand, the law in question rather limits the freedom to chose cultivated meat products.

I've been thinking about this recently, Microsoft seem to consequently name things in the least intuitive way. Like seriously: Windows XP -> Windows Vista -> Windows 7 -> Windows 8 -> Windows 10 or: xbox -> xbox 360 ->

Does this mean that anyone who has a > 11 minutes walk each way to their office won't experience the negative effects of sitting all day at work? That seems like an easily reachable target in that case.

Anecdotally, I intentionally never worked more than 4 hours any given day when writing my masters thesis. I ended up finishing many months ahead of my peers, which I feel like was because of, not in spite of, limiting the hours I worked. I
