Android is not a toy, you can easily see it's an improvement over traditional mobile, and it highly influenced by the web. I fought Android until I decided to throw my entire weight behind Java and settled on it as a platform. Don't fight i

Wow, when I read Terry's name I could immediately hear her voice. But for the life of me I can't imagine what she looks like. But for Serge & Larry, I can't imagine what they sound like at all, though I "see" their faces.

RESTAS is written by someone who knows both Lisp and the web really well. It's a good sign when a developer resists the urge to invent a new templating syntax (specially a lisper, come'on) and chooses to use a boring semi-standard, like G

Not everyone indifferent to immortality is "young". Some of us actually appreciate being a life form, expiration date and all. To live long/forever is to halt evolution. I'm more than happy to take my shot at life, live my 8 decades, then g

What is an "expression language"? I just started doing Java EE crap and there is an assortment of "ELs" that you can embed in your java apps. Outside of Java, an "expression language" doesn't make any sense to me. An expression, statement,
