To be fair, customizability and freedom aren't Apple's selling points.

It really complicates the operations though, which is already proving to be difficult for many countries: You have to add aspirin distribution & storage to the vaccine, which might be an issue for costs if not for the logistics of it. M

IME BMWs have a rather ambiguous hair-trigger to disengage the speed limiter, unlike some other makes where you would need to push the gas pedal to kickdown (with the obvious tactile bump) for the same. I think that might be skewing GP'

They weren't doing that in 2019, at least -- and yes, 1/3 sounds (broadly) accurate.

Not the same kind of nesting, is it? [[None for _y in range(y)] for _x in range(x)] for two dimensions is fine, while [None for _x in range(x) for _y in range(y)] (to create a flattened 2-dim list? excuse the dummy example) is

My point was that you cannot claim "65% of responders opposed this particular proposal". I understand, they're possibly not entirely happy. But the poll is flawed that way: "accept 634" should not mean "reject

It's consistent with how scoping works in loops and `with` clauses. Agreed that it's more problematic here, though.

It's mutating (not shadowing) `not_found` with the value of `status`. That can cause trouble if you rely on `not_found` keeping the initial value later somewhere. Which you would, e.g. with the global constant of `NOT_FOUND`. Honestly

I think your example makes it clearer that it won't be a very subtle a bug to find, but rather completely broken behaviour where only the first case is ever triggered. That should be much simpler to test against. Granted, this breaks d

It's controversial, granted, but I don't think that's a fair reading of the poll. Here's another: * A majority (56%) of responders want some form of pattern matching. * Exactly half of all responders, forming nearly 90%

Exactly. Privilege can indeed be earned through hard work (without implying that's the only way to gain/earn it), and one is free to use privilege in life. It's still privilege, and the troublesome part is when that goes unac
