For interest, I have now tested Chrome, Safari and Firefox on my machine (OSX), and of those the named anchor only works in Firefox. Strange.

Mildly related, and mildly humorous: After the last update to my phone I've started randomly experiencing dips in responsiveness. It might be doing GC or some other heavy tasks, but it remains in low (not zero) responsiveness for several se

I don't have a problem with relational databases. Or rather, I don't have a problem with relational data modelling. I do have a problem with Oracle. Even the Oracle experts at my former job could barely get Oracle to do something sensible

You say "Installing Linux is really easy", but in my experience installing Linux on a Mac is really involved. It could be the case that it has become easier. Would you say it has become significantly easier with newer models? There are some

From memory, I seem to remember that the x64 name originally came from Microsoft. They certainly make good use of it, at least, so Sun/Oracle isn't alone :) Just to fill in a (the?) missing piece in an otherwise well assembled puzzle ;)

In general, no, natural gas is not part of our infrastructure and people don't use it for heating. This has to do with our easy access to hydroelectric power.

With regards to privacy I always ask the converse question; Why would you not choose privacy? I don't understand which audience you are catering to through domain registration information.

I'm involved in the startup scene in Norway, and it seems to me that there are mainly two sources of real money; oil (gas/offshore/etc) and fish, considering both private and public funding. It doesn't look to me like unrelated tech startup

It's a crash bug. Bugs happen. It is not a design flaw. Sure, this specific vulnerability would not be there if the remote sync feature wasn't there, but people like features. Chrome has a pretty good security track record. I'm not worried.

You can shoot the bigger bubbles with the spacebar key. Not that there's any affordance for it, so something still has to be done with the game. But the title says "unfinished", so I think we're good :)
