Easy: you used to like games decades ago, so get an emulator, get the games you used to like back then (I'll leave the specifics out here), and play the games you used to enjoy. Then get some other games from that era that you never g

You're forgetting the development of a vaccine. With enough time (10 years is way more than enough), a vaccine will be developed and deployed, and that capacity won't be needed because far fewer people will contract the disease a

The European-style bidet does require extra real estate in your bathroom. The Japanese-style washlet does not; it's built into the toilet (or replaces the regular lid). Honestly, I have no idea why Europeans still use their old-fashio

I wouldn't. Coal ash takes up an enormous amount of space, and it can blow around too. Nuclear waste takes up a relatively small volume.

It sounds a lot like we're talking about different things. The Italian guy before is talking about a real bidet, a serious plumbing fixture much like a toilet. You and others seem to be thinking of some cheap, plastic add-on. Person

Instead of half-assing it, if it's "boogered up" and leaks, the fittings should be replaced.

Maybe people from other places (particularly Europe) should join the projects and start sister sub-projects to do the same things but for Europe. For the 1M ventilator one, for instance, there's no reason everyone can't work toget

NO, DO NOT DO THIS!!! Compression fittings in plumbing must NOT have any teflon tape on the threads. This just causes leaks. Teflon tape is for fittings where the threads are the sealing surface. Compression fittings do not seal with the

A normal faucet has two supply lines underneath the sink, and frequently they're flexible. Those can leak and cause a massive flood. Has that ever happened to you? In addition, every toilet also has a supply line underneath, running

Landlords do not need to invest in the S&P 500 right now; keeping the stock market going is not more important than people who can't pay rent. If the landlords are retired, they have Social Security and probably other sources of

I'm not disputing the fact about unknown people from the general public being in contact with the table. That's enough of a reason to not dine-in. I'm just pointing out that I have no trust at all that the cooks aren't

Where did I critique why dining rooms are closed? I didn't address that at all; I only addressed eating food prepared in a restaurant by low-wage cooks who could be infected.

I don't see how it's low-risk to have an infected person preparing your food in the kitchen. At least with a grocery store, you can wash off the produce before you use it. With a restaurant, there's nothing covering the food

Wait, they did brake work at the same time as the inspection and missed a brake fluid leak? That's sheer incompetence. This kind of thing is why I never like letting other people do car work for me, and try to do everything myself. Y

That's what insurance is for, or maybe a loan. If the repair is not basic, then it sounds like it's going to be very costly. If it's very costly, then the tenants missing a month or two of rent is not going to be enough to m

I don't need a source, this is common knowledge. Do you not know how the US federal income tax system works? CA does have a high state income tax, but it also contributes far more to federal coffers than NV, and it doesn't get as

Yeah, but my point is, if you take this to a ridiculous extreme ($1B per person), this would surely cause a disaster. So somewhere between 0 and this extreme, it goes from having little effect to having a big one, and I suspect it may be n
