So, the code base is immutable. Hence, it is only possible to add new terms, not remove / change existing ones. My impression is, that all terms that used a wrongly implemented term also ned to have a new definition appended. The hash

Well, no? As stated in the article, the truffles and oysters were hidden. This is assumingly because people optimise for most expensive dishes. If one would optimise for calories, she'd just take the cake and fatty meats (which are als

So, in the end everything boils down to negotiation. Obviously, if you can't negotiate the $1mil deal, then you won't get it. Furthermore, the market is not perfect. Just because somebody wants to do the job for $60k it not mean t

This sounds the the classical "intelligence being something people have". It is futile to talk about 100% correctness in this field > ... machine which hasn't even the slightest semblance of a shared cultural context ...

Indeed it is! But we still need to reset the web app entirely after having used it. Service worker might cache messages.

Or is it extra safety to use the CLI? Arguably it is easier to verify that a webapp is not sending the data to a 3rd party, than it is to verify that the CLI tool doesn't (easy network inspection from the developer tools).

These types of software has, to me, some big pitfalls: 1. The administrative burden: In over for the software to have any value, the user is imposed a huge documentation burden all the time. 2. Privacy: This is probably the worst. Imagine t

It is already fragmented, the non English fragments are just not at liberated. I think it would be great with some more language diversity. It would reduce the barrier for a lot of people to enter the programming world. (and remember, it is

This is the view of an insurance as the reversed loan, where you pay the loan before you get the principal paid out. It guess the "perfect insurance" could be obtained by reversing the reversed loan? In case of something catastrop

My thesis is, that proclaimed functional programmers spend more time on mathematical structures than implementation details. Hence a sum type and not a tagged union (how the target evaluater distinguishes should not name the type).

In google maps, gmail, and other places (where data shared between pages generally is loaded) I am very content with client site navigation. As far as I see it really depends whether it is an app or a site that is being developed.
