   I bet you do mind, specially if they ask you to do these on the whiteboard. What we do has nothing to do with basic CS questions... unless you have a very unique job. It can be done conversational if you know how to conduct an interview.

   I actually did that a few times, most of them run away from me. I said I don't have patience to do linked lists, determine if 4 points form a square type of questions, etc, as that does not prove anything. It is easy to game the syste
