Funny, I tried .NET Core with EF at a Hackathon and thought EF really went a long way. Had no idea about the restrictions, thanks for the heads up. Btw, we use .NET core in prod, but we have weird DB access through a third party API, so I d

I am - the ones that aren't legal on the sidewalk. I don't see why you would get the little scooters. There didn't seem to be that much price difference.

I was told you could avoid shots by bringing the animal in, but I am not in the field, so I don't know if that's generally true.

"Rabies shots costs thousands of dollars" I assume you mean in the US. Really? I had no clue. They are like $5 in Eastern Europe. Edit: I am referring to the post-exposure shots. Edit 2: All of this reads like a bad joke - if ou

Rabies is one of the scariest diseases to me, because most aren't vaccinated, it's virtually 100% lethal, and most of the time, doctors will tell you that you don't need to be vaccinated "just in case", because the

"Scoot" is absolutely fine on hills. Drove it from Pier 1 to Golden Gate park on California and back with zero problems on hills. Of course, BMWs will make it a point to shoot by you to show their superiority, but you won't b

So, is "magnetic paint" actually a thing, or do we need drywall with Faraday cages?

I don't think pain can be measured reliably at all, nor can it be reliably communicated.

Interested in your top 3. For me it seems to be: 1. Sufficient exercise. 2. Calm, non-screen activity before (reading for 30 mins) 3. Good environment (dark, quiet/constant background noise, good temp) 4. Not moving at all when trying

"Why does anyone spend $35,000 - $50,000 on a car? It just feels like a number that is at least 5x too high." If someone makes $250,000+ a year, it's not unreasonable. "My 2005 Ford Focus sedan was $3,000 and should last

I am a 99% sure that "some people are just immune." I have friends my age who played games way more with perfect eyes. I also have a friend who drank soda at work all day and never had a single cavity.

This is my experience. We will use Azure functions occasionally if all we need is to get data from a third party (with auth, when they can't set up CORS properly), but that's about it.
