Games will be as large as they can be until it starts causing people not to buy the game. Before that point, no one will care. And as someone who just got 1.5Gbps internet installed, my tolerance for file size is continually increasing.

I'm not proposing something, I'm describing it. This is what SpaceX is doing , and it's quite successful. And you can look all the way back to their little hopper version of the Falcon 9 and see that this strategy has been t

People want to see 100% success in all things. But that isn't very economical. Compare the SLS to Starship. SLS has had a 100% success rate. One launch, one success. But it costs $2B per launch (and climbing) and has taken 12 years to

It was spinning around in circles. Rockets don't recover from that. Anyone who thought the rocket might stay in the launch envelope is crazy.

I am indeed in Canada. I wonder what it would cost to import a car from the US. I'd happily do a road trip to Seattle to get an Ioniq 5 right now.

A bit off topic, but how are you liking the Ioniq 5? I'm on a "2 year waiting list" with my local dealer for an Ioniq 5. It has 200 people on the list, and he got 8 years in the last year. Still a "2 year waiting list&qu

Falcon 9 had "second stage reusability" the same way that Tesla has full self-driving. That was the plan , but then it turned out to be really hard. But at least with SpaceX, they simply gave up and said they were focusing effort

The part that seems to be unexpectedly really hard is getting to and successful at ignition of stage 2. Relativity Space recently had a failure with their Terran 1 launcher on its first and only test fight because stage 2 failed to correctl

It's almost an orbital test. It's so close that in theory they could accidentally make it an orbital test if they fired the engines for a tiny bit extra.

Valve benefits from having lots of people give honest reviews and marking reviews helpful. But now I'm not going to participate at all, for fear of losing access to all of my games. I'm sure many others will do the same. I wonder
