Yes, I've observed the same phenomenon. The more detailed my prompts are, the more errors GPT tends to make. I use it as a partner to discuss implementation ideas, before I start coding. That works very well, because gpt and I usually

The market share of the iphone is about 20%. So I think your comparison falls short with the very first item. I am okay, to be totally vendor locked in the apple-ecosystem, because Androids market share is so much higher. If the iPhone fail

Do you have proof that all the uproar is caused by young people? Because I do not think that reddits user base is young compared to ig or tiktok.

a and b are basically the same point, since they both can be abstract to the point "make revenue". I used Apollo because it provides a much better user experience and it is not even close to Reddits own App.

That´s good for you and I could give you some anecdotes with ChatGPT, were it failed horribly, e.g. were it failed to generate unit-tests for a simple api-call (about 10 loc)... I am sure the tools will only improve, but I don't unders

Currently the AI is not even able to improve my work... How should it replace me? I think the statement "AI is finally at the place where it can replace brain-power for many tasks" is ridiculous.

That is a bold claim.

I see this claim so often and I fail to understand it every time... What kind of junior devs do you hire, where this is the case? And what kind of tasks do you give them?

Really? For me it could not generate meaning full tests, even for the simplest react-components. E.g. it tried to test the display of an error-message in a field in a form. The error message was basically "this is field is required and

I don't know... Einstein had a lot of love affairs and debated about philosophy with some friends and was very politically active (e.g. he wrote pro-socialism articles for newspapers). In the context of theoretical physics all of this

That argument is easily reverseable - if there are more programmers who can write decent apps for chromium & firefox maybe Safari is not just as good as its competitors on a different platform?

That only holds true if the market is purely rational which it is not.

One can make any statement and if the "opposition" wants to see some proof you just deflect it and require them to bring proof that your statement is incorrect? That sounds incredible one-sided.

Exact the same analogy Dan Abramov used in his blog: https://overreacted.io/npm-audit-broken-by-design/

But I literally can email somebody from email-provider a to email-provider b. But, lets be realistic, if the email would be discovered/invented today, that would not be the case ;-)

Sorry, I don't think that is true at all. For one developer there are 5 Job offers. I know multiple people who wrote 14 applications and got 14 offers. Others did not even bother to write any because they got so much offers from headhu
