The fund that got depleted has to be topped off again, with money from the other participants in the market. Fortum, for instance, will have to pay ~23M euro, and is largely owned by the Finnish state. Same goes for lots of the other player

Yeah, and then the single big player in US can pick off each European country with time. The small players in each country will have a hard time when the force of a USA-wide company tries. Happens in other businesses as well. McDonalds, Sta

Don't underestimate the value a company puts on pleasing it workers. From what I've seen, it's often them who push for open source (for various reasons).

My guess would be the "sir" is what triggers. It reads very weird, has a bad link to the stereotypes who would use the word today, and the assuming of gender.

Born in 91, I was the perfect age to be obsessed with Harry Potter. When I was around ten, an older kid in the neighborhood helped me make a Harry Potter themed website using FrontPage (the Express version I think it was named). Small, rand

Unless you know exctly brand/make/model you wan't to buy on Amazon, the search is useless. Hundreds of similar results from dozens of vendors of varying quality. I liked it better when they sold things themselves, now they&#x

Yeah, often you don't need it. But in this case, what if that state was to be used different places in your app? (Excluding direct descendants where you could easily pass it as props)

I'm not a big fan of Redux, it's often fairly complex for simple things, but I don't think the author has any compelling arguments in his article. And I have to say, I'm not so fan of this peppy-feel-good-emoji way of wr

Not sure I agree with the dupe-flag. The other post was about the Saudi deal and then got changed. So the discussion there is fragmented.

Yeah, I think the price now will end up reflecting what people think is the odds of this happening. If you are 100% sure this will happen, you would be willing to buy shares for $419. If you are 90% sure you may stop at $400 etc.

I don't think the trackpad is uniquely good on MacBooks. What I miss after switching however is BetterTouchTool. That supercharged what was a trackpad basically only used for scroll and single/right clicks to something awesome.
