In my country, registering your bike gives you a huge discount on the insurance. Is it common other places, and will a bike registered through this site be eligible for a similar type of discount? I'd wish more listing sites would have

In my country (Norway in Europe, but not EU member): Yes. But you cannot "use the product as your own", just open it and test that it meets your expectations.

Extremely closed, at least at the moment. Can't even read the language reference without Apple products.

I can't even view the book about the language without having an Apple device or installing Apple software.

And the keyboard on Windows Phone is also really great, especially in WP8.1. So Apple needed to improve the keyboard, they were already far behind the competition.

I never saw the original submission, so it was nice getting aware of this. But what does this really bring to the table? The linked article is nothing but a link back to HN and some other places.

And during that degree, you learned the pro's and con's of every VCS and when to use which, I guess? I'm soon graduating myself, and I would never dream of believing that I know better than those with more experience than me.

I think it's only possible to up vote comments after a day or so, and no longer down vote. So when you say something controversial, the first hours you get a lot of both up- and down votes. But after a while, you only get the up votes.
