I never saw the original submission, so it was nice getting aware of this. But what does this really bring to the table? The linked article is nothing but a link back to HN and some other places.
- scrrr 12y agoIt's just that truecrypt.org forwards to this URL where you are warned not to use it: http://truecrypt.sourceforge.net http://truecrypt.sourceforge.net It's confusing and worrying as it's a pretty mainstream tool. (I wouldn't install anything from this webpage right now btw.)
- jimktrains2 12y agoAlso the new binary, which is properly signed, has no write functionality, only read.
