Yeah, most tech companies do this, and it's awesome! We get free GitHub plan (but try to run most stuff open source), free Jira by Atlassian and free IntelliJ by Jetbrains. Really helps us recruiting volunteers and makes it a fun and &

Maybe in your country. In Norway it's normal. The (few) times I've been interviewed I've gotten the full story by mail before publishing or a phone call. I work for a student newspaper now, and last week we even implemented a

My student newspaper has written about the Moser couple and their research several times [1][2]. It's in Norwegian, though, so not sure how much of use it is to share (edit: apparently we have an English version of the second article,

Well, yeah, deployed a minified angular app yesterday, and ng-annotate handled almost everything except a controller that's initialized a custom way. So it broke. :(

Point 3 about "Dependency injection" is often not needed. Just use ng-annotate before minify/uglify, and it will convert the code to the array syntax for you. It handles most of the cases, leaving your code without the ugly a

I understand the grouping of the JS files by feature. But I have a hard time including the partials/HTMLs with that. Because when building (concat, minify etc) the project, they will then need to be copied around and all template-refer

We need OpenGL as an alternative. What would Direct3D have been today without competition? But at the same time, GL is such a PITA to use directly that I don't bother without some middleware abstracting it away.

Any source on the "Monsanto lobbying against seed-banks"? Your down votes may be because of that, because your sentence looks a bit like the typical uneducated anti-gmo/monsanto hate.

Why should Mozilla act? This only affects nightlies and beta, as the article stated. If you use one of those, you should expect things to occasionally not work.

Last time I tried this, even my tiled floor and the blinds on the windows suddenly had colors. I think it will be triggered by almost every kind of striped pattern.

YUI, differently from the other big js frameworks, has been around for a long time and should therefore be "stable enough" and there's a lot of code examples and documentation around the web.

The clogging of the bus lanes because of electric cars is mostly wrong. It's been a lot in the news, but no one has proven it. They all just point to the correlation of more electric cars in the lanes. Not the correlation with more tra
