This has been tried in Sweden, and IIRC the court said that since it can't be proven who drove the car between the cameras it's not possible to fine the driver.

I learned something interesting about NFC recently that I hadn't considered before: for all the wallet kind of applications, where the phone acts like a VISA/Msatercard/etc credit card there has to be a trusted module that takes care of the

To me it looks like the "others" have far lower bitrate than the Nokia. It'd be interesting to see the originals.

There are also a number of other tests in the article, this page just happened to be the first hit when I searched for it. Overall improvements are around 2x.

My iPhone 4 feels faster (no benchmarks, maybe it's just the reboot) with iOS6, and I like the shared photo streams. Battery life seems to be largely the same.

Ah, I misread your question. According to their notes, "Rather than a single touchscreen controller, Apple went with a multi-chip solution to handle the larger screen size, à la iPad.". But I'd guess that it's not (just) the size that makes

There's more information here: http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch10.html , "Hardware vs. software virtualization" and forward. If I'm reading it right, it might be possible to run VB in software virtualization mode even with the new firm

https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?p=52266 The "VMX root mode" problem is known since at least 2008. On Linux hosts it's been possible to disable whatever puts the CPU into that mode, but that may be harder on OSX.

The charger has a normal USB-A female connecter, so you can connect any USB cable that will fit in a computer to it. So the charger itself isn't limited to Lightning, but can be used with a USBA->microUSB cable. Also see http://ec.euro
