I recommend using Emacs Prelude, which already auto-configures most of what I've described. You just need to enable a few modules for it and you're good to go.

This meme about Python being slow needs to end. While it's not as fast as some other interpreted languages it is not slow for any general use case unless you're doing number crunching (which is slow in any interpreted/bytecod

Emacs + company-mode + lsp-mode + pipenv-mode (for virtualenv packages) work great for me. What was your setup and what kind of issues did you have with it?

So how does this work? Where does Chromium get the data for the websites which load slow? Does this mean that websites which one visits get sent to Google now? Or do they use the existing SafeBrowsing queries to also send page load times? W

If people just keep flagging comments that they don't agree with, we will never be able to have a proper discussion about this. Holding a different/non-PC opinion should not be grounds for killing a post. Win with words, not with

On an Intel Celeron B820 @ 1.70Ghz laptop, it took more than 40 seconds to complete and consumed 1% of battery in the meantime. The "complex equations" you are doing will not work on low-horsepower devices like phones or low-to-me

If you are hinting to proprietary systems in your last sentence, you can go ahead and pay someone to lock you into their ecosystem. This is how Free Software works and I wouldn't have it any other way. People work on their own and brin

I am already aware of that, but why should I have to for basic features? If you need reviews for products, you will need an app developed by Shopify (but for some reason not integrated into their main product - what the hell?) which doesn

While the concept is sound, I do hope that you will allow users of your service to 'detach' at some point to make their sites into something more complex. Working around Website as a Service limitations is a tremendously tedious h

I seriously don't want this to, well, become the standard. Shoving ads/sponsorships on my face will not make me more enthusiastic about the product that the advertiser is selling, but rather will make me more reluctant to install

It just seems like they changed documentation and moved some ES5 constructs to ES6, there isn't even a behavior change in those commits. Is this what took 40 hours to update? Why is this worth a major version bump?

Not saying this is bad, but... Instead of giving money to a tool like this, you could just use ctags/etags, both of which are Free Software. It doesn't show detailed graphs like Sourcetrail does, but it allows source code traversa
