True, though having it synced on the cloud makes it possible (but with more effort) to decrypt the file. Maybe using termux in android. But yeah, that's the downside.

I have a bash script which takes in name of the website and generates a 64 character long random string(lower,upper,number,symbol), then puts that in a text file and then encrypts it with gpg using aes256 and puts that file in a dropbox syn

Probably selling user's data? If there's one thing I learned, it is that it's almost always the "too good to be true" scenario.
