I mean... sure but they're also only willing to interact with the game when they're making the experience bad for everyone else.

Haha, something that should theoretically help small players actually only helps huge corps? That's CRAZY. I bet that's never happened before.

You built something and then realize that it breaks if the user presses the back button so instead of fixing the original design you try to change the behavior of the back button.

Then that's a problem that you can solve, typically with a single line in your stylesheet. Doesn't damn the concept by any means.

The only reason I can think of for how many comments here are simply trying to call the post 'trashy' is that they were written by MS devs...

The point of E2E is that it doesn't matter who owns the server. "End to End" means end to end, not 'end to middle then decrypted then to end'. If it's ever decrypted anywhere but an endpoint it's not E2E,

I agree it should, but realistically does any IoT device actually worry about such a thing?

What is that supposed to mean? If the only way it directly impacts a forum is because of the company doing the killing, the killing is irrelevant?

So... a simple yes would have sufficed. They were not profitable, now they are. They may not be later, we'll find out.

Is Twitter now profitable? It was my understanding that throughout all of 2016 and 207 they were operating at a loss. And for a long time before that. If they're profitable this year it could be a turning point and I'd be wrong, a

Some people, myself included, pay for some online news content. But just by virtue of being paid doesn't make news content creators more valuable. I had a NYT subscription until their OpEd board started churning out Nazi apoliga like i

And yet from a business perspective, Twitter is doing terribly. The news platforms we seem to gravitate to don't end up being profitable.

Number 3 isn't just in flux, I'd argue it got worse. Companies like Facebook trying to act as definitive platforms while trying to keep their hands clean of being sources or generators means that we have even more fragmented n

Gut reaction, no it's impossible. But other problems I thought were nigh unsolvable have turned out to be not so I'd love to be proven wrong.

I don't think you've provided any real evidence that it was specifically the design and UI that sold people on the app. I started using Snapchat right around their peak demo, 17/18, and I remember jumping on board because it

That's kind of a cute idea, but again the overwhelming consensus between the friends I was talking to was "this app sucks". One said they use the app infrequently because of this, and I know personally I try to NEVER discover

Really? Every friend of mine complains about the UI. Just yesterday a group of friends (early 20's) were commiserating over how nothing in Snapchat made any sense and just doing something as simple as getting to your friends list was d
