I would second that. Even the best prompt engineers could not do the mental gymnastics to read, comprehend and change the generated code. We are a long way from replacing programmers.

If i were you, i would offer it to them as an in house hosted service. That clears the SSO and shared database requirements. Remember to specify remote access for you as the developer. It will also enable you to cherry pick the requirements

Sound advice. Although I already have SQL. Why switch away from PHP?

Thank you Jean. All I can add is 'Happy Fathers Day'. I pray (despite being agnostic) that i never have to use your dads invention. But grateful that I could. If need be. Great site. Keep up the memory.

Yes, there is a LuaGL binding. Angry birds is written with Lua so it can't be too bad.

Simple. C or C++. Highly portable, C++ is widely used by Game Devs.

I used it for a year before I signed up. Lurking is always a good way to gauge a community. I have the context. I just despair that the site is leaning more towards the political and further away from the startup tech. I could be wrong,

After reading a few comments, just have to clarify that this is not necessarily a bad thing. HN is the only site that i sit on all day. It used to be Slashdot, brief flirtation with Digg and Reddit. But now it's HN.

by m1k3yboi 13y ago
Totally agree. HN is kinda like Digg in the early days, but the signal to noise ratio is on the up and the 'New' section is almost shambolic.

I know what he meant, but duckduckgo is now my homepage, used to be iGoogle, but that's rubbish and tracks. DDG has it's goodies section and is superior in terms of search.

It depends on your programming experience. What language do you code in? Java's a good mainstay and easily migrated to if you are used to c or c++/Csharp?
