I realise that, but "80s action comedy" isn't really true. 80s action comedies include such gems as The Naked Gun, Beverly Hills Cop and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. What's the referent for this movie, if it&

Saw two (was it three?) decapitations in the first two minutes. One thing which distinguishes the 80s "genre" was that those things were rarely shown outside movies like The Omen. TV was deliberately sanitised, protagonists develo

The obsession with helmets in many countries is born of an idea that violence on the roads is inevitable. It's a bit like responding to knife or gun crime by saying everyone should wear kevlar vests, problem solved! Rather than insisti

I just watched all five seasons again, and the 4:3 ratio was a bit of a distraction. The quality seems lower as well, almost like I could see the scan lines. For the video enclosed in the article: warning for spoilers and mild gore.

I think Volvo is working on such a concept - a human driver in the front-most car, with other cars following in a train. Cars can join and leave the train as their occupiers want. This is envisioned for use on the freeway, no idea of the ac
