FastUI might be worth a look. An alternative from the founder of Pydantic (haven’t tried it though). https://github.com/pydantic/FastUI?tab=readme-ov-file

I usually agree but I honestly believe even before OpenAI he was set for life and he will now care more about how exciting the work is and how much it aligns with his interests/values.

Hmmm, so this excited me a great deal since I spent some time building a property-based testing system for a trading execution engine. (Which really can't have any issues). It's an agent-based system with many possible race condit

Haha very good catch. I prefer GCP but I will admit any day of the week that their support is bad. Makes sense that they would value good support highly.

Also much prefer GCP but gotta say their support is hot steaming **. I wasted so much time for absolutely nothing with them.

Better than GPT4 on my tests. I also prefer the way it responds and it is also a bit quicker for me.

Hiring for potential means to me, they didn't have the time to learn something yet. So, the most important thing is: How quickly do they learn new stuff? Are they excited about learning new stuff? You can figure this out by letting the

Didn't hear about the @ sign that sounds indeed very useful. Also, you're examples agree with my experience. The important thing is to make the tasks as small as possible while still being useful being able to quickly combine gpts

Yep, the future is JS full-stack. Especially with stuff like Trpc, Next, Server Components. These frameworks just have much more options to integrate the frontend and backend nicely.

Yes we are using DuckDB right now. Love it. Works extremely well if you can partition down your data to manageable (few gbs) size.

Column orientation is extremely important for query + storage efficiency. Furthermore, you need a distributed query engine (Athena, Bigquery etc.) and they all support parquet.
