Yeah. Lots of “culling” software out there but agree it would be a good feature for standard photo organisation apps https://imagen-ai.com/ https://aftershoot.com/

Yeah I'm operating on a shoestring but tbh servers are super-reliable as is Postgres. What even is "production grade"? Read replicas, point-in-time restores etc? For a product that is ~$1000 ARR I think I can live with a bit

I built the early prototype for me (I wanted it, dogfooding etc) and I tried to market it. Not a huge success, but enough for me to add some paid-for features. Got a few customers, got some feedback on what was missing, added a few more fea

I don't have a plan for https://pagecord.com . Life's too short. YOLO, etc. My app is relatively feature rich right now so I would say I spend a lot more time on marketing. I still add features of course (and they are a

That's a big one and I'm sure will be the final nail in the coffin for plenty of people. No reason to use Heroku in 2025, especially for Rails apps (you mentioned Kamal). I moved my app onto Hetzner + Cloudflare R2 and I couldn&#x

Thanks, appreciate it. Big fan of Bearblog myself, but I wanted to scratch my own itch and make something a little different for non-techies. Blog by email was the biggest thing I wanted.

Once I add private blogs/post support to Pagecord, it will kinda do this automatically. Maybe. Sort of. https://pagecord.com .

This article perfectly highlights the perils of unbounded take home tests. A timeboxed test for a small group (say, no more than 10) of final candidates can be an excellent differentiator. The problem here is Kagi have omitted the timebox

Big fan of Cloudflare Pages for static sites. Personally I prefer Jekyll (Ruby innit) and VS code but same workflow and result. These days for daily blogging I built Pagecord so I can just type an email and clicking Send :) https:/&#x

I'm a big fan of Write Freely. I love what Matt is doing for the open web. I can't see Pagecord competing with it any time soon, but who knows. I built Pagecord as a side project using Ruby for myself, and as an alternative to HEY
