I did not see prices mentioned in the article. Are you just assuming that the prices will be prohibitively high?

What a tone-deaf name choice for a technology startup, especially one posting to a site called "Hacker News" and trying to recruit hackers to join their ranks (unless of course this is joke that's gone completely over my head.)

I suppose the answer is something along the lines of, "find a partner who knows something about designing and manufacturing hardware (or learn it yourself)". But yeah, I've wondered this myself on those occasions when I came up with an idea

Chrome 16.0.904.0 dev is what I'm running on my MacBook, and it works fine there. It wasn't working for me with Safari either until I saw the tip in SnowLprd's comment about enabling WebGL.

As many times as I've flown out of the Shuttlesworth Airport (in Birmingham) I never knew who it was named for. Thanks for sharing, Colin.

I imagine that at least some of the disappointment is due to a lack of surprises. We've pretty much known for months that at a minimum the new iPhone (whatever model number it ended up having) would have incremental improvements over the

If it's the situation that someone needs something from you, I think you're within your rights to limit the "conversation" to whatever medium you're most comfortable with (e.g. I myself prefer e-mail for most communications). But if it's a

I'm still using the 3GS that I bought about a week after they went on sale, and it works like a charm (though I too may upgrade next week, depending on what gets announced). Luck of the draw, I guess, though it sucks that Apple wasn't able

I carry my iPad around with me and it's very much a personal device. It might be a different story if it somehow supported multiple user logins; there have certainly been times when I would like for it to have at least supported a "Guest" a
