   I worked for a smaller stock media company, one of many, that was swallowed up by getty. If they can now use their capital and stature to run this type of business model then good for them...but it's just an experiment in the long run.

   Do you just by habit throw the word illogical around at the beginning of your responses? It's not really a healthy way to have a debate. Optics? Are you making this about marketing?

   You might enjoy the book "Liars Poker" by Michael Lewis that the author references. I find the finance world interesting also, and read the Financial Times as much as possible. Most fascinating obituaries youll ever read.
