It's just semantics. "managing remote resources" or "calling remote procedures" is all just network calls, usually http.

There needs to be a carve-out for open source software. The difference between open source software and other industries is that OSS is not "the bridge" -- it's the "blueprint for the bridge". Until it's in the

Looking at the control manual this looks very ergonomic. You're essentially delegating non-input controls to a joystick with feedback, while the typing is done on the keyboard. This is actually useful.

I don't see anything wrong with this. It's like saying "Apple is built by Steve Jobs" even though obviously a lot more people are involved, and even if Jobs is no longer even around.

Thought it was interesting that we're seeing false positives and false negatives in these detection systems. > One of my papers from last semester before ChatGPT is shown to be 80% AI.

There are still "hard" problems to solve when it comes to spellchecking. For example predictive text and correct typo detection. Notice what suggestions the Firefox and chrome spellcheckers give you versus what happens when you us

Fun fact of the day: ffmpeg is written by Fabrice Bellard, who among other impressive things, wrote the JS PC emulator capable of running windows 2000 in a browser over 10 years ago that got me fascinated with emulators in general. https:&

Feels like whoever is running or judging entries for the TSA Webmaster Competition is not very literate in the field they are judging, if they consider Github a template engine.

Got the ops-30b chatbot running on 3090 24GB. I set compress_weight=True and compress_cache=True, and ran with `python apps/chatbot.py --model facebook/opt-30b --percent 100 0 100 0 100 0`. I also modified the prompt a bit to make
