I use Edlys Music Theory for Practical People with my students. Don't discount the ability to fast-track your progress with a good teacher, too.

That's the "Jacob Collier Thing" though. Consider that he's doing 'complicated' reharms, but with significantly more emphasis on microtonality. For the average listener, it's not so much that he's &q

As a semi-professional jazz nerd, he's absolutely "got it" in the majority of tracks he records. "Right now", his appeal is to folks who understand all of the tricks in modern contemporary harmony, and his payoff i

You're making a (large, most likely incorrect) assumption that 25% of a given town is made up of ra(p|c)ists. I suspect if you got down to it, you'd find it's most like 1% or less in the 'bad' areas, and the major

I suspect it's a flaw in how humans (of certain political persuasions) rationalize "how we got here". They think "Well, the old place was OK except for this very small bit that pushed me over the edge into 'move el

Thank you for the clarification/education. As an American, I was not aware of the points you brought up (handgun ownership being legal, being allowed to defend one's self with a preemptive strike, etc). If you have time, could I
