I doubt the limitation is lost on Wyden et al, but there is a political barrier to getting a bill like this passed at all. It's a lot more symbolic to introduce a bill with no chance in hell of passing the Senate than to introduce one

Paul Graham is a charlatan. He has no great insights into the way the world works that aren't fatally colored by his own self-sense of success. In large part, the purpose of articles of this ilk is little more than to seek self-justifi

This seems like a bug because it means system state results in unpredictable behavior. There should be a dedicated swap for hibernation, like the pre-allocated hiberfile used by Windows.

Why this particular coin that nobody uses? This seems weird. Is this a monetisation scheme we should be worried about?

The Sony designs seem pretty interesting and divergent from the rest of the market. I don't know why they're not getting more attention, but I assume it has to do with carrier deals.

Authoritarian IT is always insisting everyone use cloud services -- but exactly the same cloud service for everyone. This seems designed to fail.

The only thing you said that is true is in the last sentence. The basket of goods affecting inflation is heavily influenced by the cost of housing. All you care about when holding a store of value is how much of that denominated fungible as

I'm not sure anyone in this thread knows what inflation is. If the cost of housing rises, that is inflationary against all other fungible assets that could be used to purchase housing. That is, one requires a larger quantity of all ass

What are you on about? If the NLRB wanted to take action against this company for union busting, they have statutory tools at their disposal. What you're proposing is completely tinfoiled.

Even so, there's a limit to how much the consumer can do, given how interconnected supply chains are. Your TV may ultimately be assembled in SK, but it will definitely be sending revenue to China for myriad internal components. A boyco
