Sure, but I'm wondering now if an ebook 'brought to you by todo.yt' might not be a better idea in your case. Real experience presented with a real solution. You could collect emails, let people pay what they want (as thanks)

Appreciate you putting this out there. Forced focus, it's a good technique. Why not start a workshop?

This is reassuring. Designers choosing system fonts. As a non-designer, I opted for site-wide Georgia usage recently and was really happy with the result. I was doing it initially partly for performance reasons, and to stop external calls o

Thanks for the encouragement. Had a bit of fun getting it to build correctly[0], but got there in the end! Would love to create a new Deb package but haven't done it before, am short on time etc. - maybe another day. [0] - https:/

Another thanks here. I'm between cmus and mocp at the moment due to the segfaulting bug on Debian[0] but might try to compile the latest version from source if these have been squashed upstream... [0] - https://bugs.debian.o

Thanks for that - have written up most of the performance work I've done and posted to HN[0] - I see from link [2] above that you retested drupal.org and found render times to have doubled since a recent change. It's so easy to un

Do you use custom scripts for that reading workflow, or something more generally available? Could be a nice partial solution for procrastination.

Am I right in thinking that Dillo doesn't load any JS by default? I'd imagine your user-agent would be quite a giveaway in this case, but still, perhaps nice to use in that respect.

I'll throw in my own 2 cents, in agreement. I have tried to use SPDY, Nginx 'microcaching', Drupal caching to make my own Drupal 7 project load as quickly as possible. I still need to make the font and bootstrap calls local (

Just a little bump - anyone here use translation for their sites/businesses at all? It's a solid, reliable lever for business development, a relatively underused 'growth-hack'.

I'm on hand over the weekend to discuss any of the details, stack, market fit or strategy. Basically an against-all-the-odds single founder, bootstrapped startup needing not very many paid accounts to be profitable (discounting sunk co

Going to try to apply the £1/$1/€1 trial subscription to my startup - at 80% conversion, it sounds worth a shot, even if it's nowhere near there. The idea of forcing a small commitment seems solid, and is far from new.
