Great idea and good looking too! Similar to http://greplin.com The video is very well produced, but feels a tad long before it gets to your sales pitch. Lots of facts before the pitch, which could be consolidated/shortened. Not sure if th

Wow, thanks for the details! I'm definitely going to have to grab a copy and take some time to try out Impact, it looks like a ton of fun. It's pretty clear we're going to start seeing a lot of real games coming out in HTML + JS soon. As fo

So is the engine still going to be available outside Disney? Hope so... Any comparison with Impact? ( http://impactjs.com/ ) Still meaning to try that one myself.

If/when they do launch a "Pay with Facebook" feature, I'm sure they're aware that they'll have to come up with a fee schedule that's competitive with existing vendors like Paypal. I wonder if that would force them to lower their take on Fac

Definitely need a mobile version. I write most notes on the go, and I'm sure that's true for a lot of people.

Wow, the video on giveabrief.com is too funny! I really like the idea of mocking up via more of a scripting language, especially since it's exportable to a real project in Xcode. As a developer, clicking that many times to build a mockup st

You could also add Google Chrome Frame to the page instead of outright dropping IE <9 support. At least it gives them another option, especially while IE9 is still in beta :)

Dracula, and Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. I've been restricting myself to fiction these days, since I get way too engrossed by non-fiction and want to keep it light and fun for a bit :)

What happens in a scenario where a file that was managed as part of a Parachute deployment is modified directly, and Parachute attempts to deploy a new version of it? I guess I'm asking how potential conflicts are handled. I looked around t

This looks great! Not all software can be delivered entirely SaaS style, and I've personally ran into hitches with git-based auto-updating of controlled deployments myself. Will take a closer look at this as soon as I have time, thanks! :)

I'd love to know if there's a lib for generating annotations like this from source comments. I've always loved docs tha include the code for reference, helps to see what's actually going on :)

I'm sure it'll fill out with time and probably be on par with things like last.fm but maybe in a more mainstream way. What I'm trying to figure out is how to sign up as an artist... A 4+ week wait time registering for iTunes Connect as an i

Same here. I tend to avoid using it for just about anything. Thankfully, my girlfriend didn't upgrade hers when I did, so between the two of us we still have one usable phone until the iPhone 4 hits Canada.

If Apple are serious about gaming, as they seem to be, they surely won't enforce a limitation that will kill tools like Unity. It will be interesting to see their clarification, but somehow I think we'll all be fine.

I see mention of SendGrid, which looks like it might do this. Didn't see that in my prior research. Have I found a solution here folks?

The requirement of publishing to a topic and not to individuals could be a big limitation too. I'd love to use a service like this to handle all the one-off emails (billing receipt, individual notifications) within my web apps that only sen

Looks similar to messagepub.com and their message broadcasting, although with subscription verification, and groups, but minus twitter, google talk, AIM, etc. Will be interesting to do a comparison of similar services.

I don't have a boss :) But my mom has a pretty awesome one. He takes them on trips for the holidays, the whole office (~15 people). They've been to the Mayan Riviera, New York (twice), Washington, and Disneyland, off the top of my head.

From #6, if you're an introvert, act like an extrovert for a change. This rings so true with me. I was a super shy kid, but when the opportunity to change schools came around, I decided to try acting out and being the loud one for a change.

Exactly. I run 2 companies right now and I've started others before (all in web-based software). I'm now in the process of trying to slowly turn music into my next business (as a songwriter/performer) as well, and I'm finding a lot of cross

That's pretty much what ZumoDrive is doing too. It's offline, but you set how much of a local cache for recent/frequently used files you want, which makes it feel local for cached files (because it is :).

Sorry to self-promote, but I'm the creator of a Drupal competitor that may be worth looking at for you: http://www.sitellite.org/ It's a mature project (9 years old, so yes there is some cruft, hell PHP 4 was brand new when it started!),

And to answer the poster, I tend to just use the default vim. I'm bouncing around machines so much that I don't bother setting anything up on my main one that I'll miss on the others...
