Yeah, it's normal, and it usually ends up getting sucked backward, presumably due to the turbulent airflow in the space between the end of the vehicle and the engine nozzles: Echostar: https://youtu.be/zEfEBJfD_RE?t=18m

I agree. While I'm overwhelmingly convinced that climate change is real and due to anthropogenic emissions, there is clearly a place for people who aren't convinced of the evidence to poke and prod at the research. However, it sho

That argument sounds precipitously close to the reasoning that led to the Challenger disaster: "Even though this isn't supposed to happen, we've seen it before and it was fine" leading to a slow eroding of safety margins

But I will never refactor another 800 line case statement with 26 early exits, 14 double negatives, and 90 unintelligible variable assignments inside a 23,000 line module. Never. But there's the sign that they really need you.

Perhaps you are not aware of this, but there are numerous studies that show bias, for example random shuffling of names on resumes and resumes with female names are rated lower than those with male names. Whether this bias is conscious or u

My question would be: why do you want a following? Personally, I have practically zero views on my blog, but that's OK. I'm writing about niche things that I hope will help anyone who finds themselves in the same situation in the

I find the vast majority video blogging long-winded and rambling. This isn't particularly surprising, since it's much more work to shoot and edit a video to be short and to the point than it is a written work, but unless there&#

The consolation is that it is always much quicker to build the second of something than it is to build the first one, because you know exactly how to do it. I like to say that I could have done my PhD thesis in 3 months rather than 5 year

This isn't just true for web development thought. If you worked on building some piece of hardware, a few years later you'd be hard pressed to see any of that hardware still around. I guess you can keep one on your shelf as a meme

I'm not sure what point you are making. Even if competition in the payday loan market is so fierce that there's zero margin, it still remains that the rates will be high enough to help trap people in poverty, and having people nee

You don't need to wear it tight (like you do with a car seat belt), we're not talking about tens of G accelerations like in a car crash. All you need is for it to prevent you from flying up out of your seat.
