Isn't it inefficient for both mom & dad to take their parental leave at the same time? Wouldn't it be better to alternate like 8 months + 2/4 months so that atleast one person is available for basically a full year? Rathe

Another same here. I didn't need to buy a console, a tv or even a controller. It feels like unlimited power to be able to access RDR2 on just another tab - 13 year old me would have gone crazy :)

Every four years today's high schoolers graduate college and start earning money. They don't witness the previous cycle and it's lessons, so they are impressed by the tech and don't realize the greater fool is them.

This is similar to a goal I had during childhood (very naive obviously) - that I should try and write a heartfelt essay addressed to all the terrorists around the world. And if all the newspapers published my essay on the front page, all th

What country is that? I'm pretty sure it will have issues of inclusivity, you just don't see them because you're not affected by it.

I may be wrong, here are my impressions from 5 minutes spent googling - he already made his fortune in past decades. He is not really in the limelight, not building revolutionary stuff or going up against govt/corporate interests. He i

Basically he's got a lot of money. People will attack him no matter what he does, in an effort to redistribute his wealth. It's game theory, there are no billionaires who are liked.

This seems like a facetious word-salad. You asked if a poem that was written then burned, still exists. He answered that the poem exists in his memory. It doesn't make any sense to say, what is empirical evidence for order or culture

Same here. Way too distracted and barely written a line of code at my faang workplace today even though it's simple bash script and I would have blazed through stuff like this years ago. Perhaps there is a self-selection policy at play

Happened to me with FIFA in college. I could see balls passing and common patterns of crosses/attacks/corners playing on the back of my eyelids. I realized I had drilled the football patterns into my neurons.

Exactly. The main feed doesn't hold any meaning for me now. I find I miss around 50% of my friend's posts and reels if I don't check their profile manually. I only use it for seeing and posting stories now. I'm sure stor

Would it have been easier to generate these images on some cloud gpu and stream/send the images to a smart tv? To avoid building and fabricating all the hardware components?
