What makes those chrome tabs? The extra wasted space? You may be able to do that in Sublime Text 2 with a theme (not positive, but I use themes that modify the tab appearance now). edit: Here's a theme that has what looks like "Ch

Yes, the design of iOS 7 should have been a static mockup with slightly tweaked vector icons. Feel the burn, Jony.

Also the case on iOS Chrome: http://d.pr/i/9pwK I think I first noticed it a week or two ago on desktop and iOS, so not sure if it's a version thing or an a/b test.

One interesting note: the deprecation of v1 of the API was going to force them to either remove the app or update it. During the blackout for unauth'd endpoints a few features (notably search) stopped working. I just checked and the new ver

They've always asked that others not host development documentation. Lots of us keep a local copy either for playing around or helping improve them, but you've clearly posted this as a preview of Bootstrap 3 without any permission from Mark

I had some benchmarks show odd results and others were the expected increase. You might try building a new server on Digital Ocean with VirtIO enabled. It's an experimental option for new servers and you can contact support to have it enabl

I'm sure they'll have a bugfix release out soon to fix this. Nah, just kidding.

Since you posted those without commentary it's not clear what I'm supposed to take from that video of someone who was able to find the charger right away. Again, accusing a journalist of maliciously fabricating anything is a huge deal. It i

Right, the difference is Mobile Safari and home screen web apps use the Nitro engine while UIWebView still uses JavaScriptCore IIRC.

Creating stereotypes of users is not a valid excuse to hate a company and its products. One could find any number of asswipes under any banner to justify this type of silly tribalism.

Exactly. Some plants are simply poison, too. And many people have allergies that can make even a small amount of some plants deadly. Nothing gets me ranting like the old "everything in moderation" line.

No need to speculate in that direction. These are big companies and smart people—I'm sure they came to an agreement. I just found the whole thing odd.

Anyone who listened to the shows last year knows Dan was working with Black Pixel on the 5by5 app. Why that fell through we won't know, but this app is clearly the result of that.

So Mule now has The Talk Show and its new iOS app is really a reskinned 5by5 app that never was released (check inside the app bundle and you'll see the class prefix is FBF and the 5by5 logo is even in there—presumably unused). Nerd drama.

We're doing something far more comprehensive with the Bootstrap theme for Pinax and if not for a few things you don't even really need Pinax and can just use Django with our theme app: http://github.com/pinax/pinax-theme-bootstrap/

Was hoping for some sidebar love in the new theme (file and folder icons, renaming files in place), but the changes seem good so far.
