Why do all new OS versions look like deepin Linux? These screenshots look like someone mixed up DDE and Solis Budgie.

I’m 14, and internet wise, I wish it was the 90s. I coded my website, blog occasionally, and get noticed once in a great while. I chat on open platforms, and like decentralization and freedom from corporations.

That’s a good point. Honestly, if I had a popular open source project right now, I would have matrix bridged to discord and maybe irc if people asked for it.

The difference is that * IRC is interoperable and easy to change servers, unlike apps with proprietary protocols. If Yahoo started doing horrible things with their email, then people who notice would switch to GMail or another host.

I use a 6S plus, and am glad to see Apple caring about older devices. I guess there hasn’t been any huge changes in phone hardware since then [0]. I also wonder how iOS 15 will affect jailbreaking. 0. https://news.ycombinator.com

I don’t like google and don’t really want to defend it, but this is more of a lots of crappy websites problem than a google problem.

DDG sources from bing, so if bing removes something, DDG won’t get it either.
