Although it is in the orphanage, the current maintainer is very receptive to contributions. I believe there isn't much activity because it is very stable, and there aren't that many users to find its flaws. For me, the biggest pro

Except when it doesn't work. I tried using it a few months ago on both Windows and WSL, but I had to give up and resort to run a Maxima kernel on EIN.¹ I was going to try again before commenting, but I broke my WSL setup last week and

Well, the author says "trying to get back " (emphasis mine), which makes me think that there is some prior experience, it's not "has only started." The article also says: > Over a couple of years, I have man

Thank you for answering. Also, I did check the dictionary before asked. As others comments pointed out, it does have a meaning of adjacency or contrast, and I guessed that this is where this usage was coming from. But still, even with this

Thinking about "tools" in a more general sense, I'd mention Pandoc,¹ which is an end-user application, and PureScirpt,² a programming language. ¹ https://pandoc.org ² https://www.purescript.org

Up until I read your comment, I never really made any association between my astigmatism and my discomfort with dark themes. Now it all makes sense. Also, since too much white was never a problem for me, my theme of choice in Emacs is Nano
