I believe the course list has plenty that do match what the OP is looking for. For example there are several on real analysis, graduate-level optimization and other subjects like that. As well as much easier subjects. Don't know the

Curious myself, and I found this: https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in/noc17_mg10/preview As someone into OR myself, I'd like to see if it will be formally given again.

Very nice Jason. I know I'm always bugging you about Fieldbook APIs (this is Nate K again), but is there an api for creation here? I have a super-duper-cool use case in mind but it involves POSTing an in-memory CSV rather than manually

This is a great question. Not to highjack the topic, but I think it would be great to have a clear path for publishing novel (if credible) research in reputable journals. Could be a great hack for someone to enter a grad program for which

I once had an idea for a non-profit[1]. Started to fill out an application, got about 1/5 of the way through, abandoned it because I decided it wasn't something I'd commit to, and never submitted it.[2] Then about a month la

Congrats! I loved the elegance coffeescript & it was the language that convinced me JS was a reasonable target. Though I, like many, moved to TS, I use CS every day via its spiritual child es6.

fieldbook.com seems to check a lot of your boxes. it has plenty of rough edges but has a solid relational model and is fun to use. my only complaint is that api access is really expensive (making it cost-prohibitive to most HN readers) but

What strikes me about the Scala community is how amazingly anti-fragile it is. Odersky often uses criticism to refine future versions of the language. He is currently my favorite benevolent dictator.
