What strikes me about the Scala community is how amazingly anti-fragile it is.
Odersky often uses criticism to refine future versions of the language. He is currently my favorite benevolent dictator.
- happyhippo333 9y agoWith handling criticism it all comes down to the mental attitude: Is your project just a tool to get a job done or do you draw some sense of self-worth and life purpose from it? Former is a healthy attitude, latter would make your life miserable.
